The policy
Within 14 days of your purchase you can ask for a refund, for any reason or none, and you will get one. You do not have to explain yourself, and nothing has to be broken. After that window, write anyway — if something went genuinely wrong, it will be sorted out.
How to ask
Email adrianviziteu@gmail.com, or use the contact form, from the address you bought with. Include the Polar receipt or order number if you have it to hand; it makes the refund a minute’s work rather than a search. You can also ask Polar Software Inc. directly through the receipt Polar emailed you.
What happens next
Polar Software Inc. is the merchant of record, so the refund is issued by Polar to the payment method you used. Polar handles it quickly once asked; how soon it appears on a statement is then up to your bank, usually a few working days. The licence tied to that purchase stops being valid, and the app returns to its unlicensed state — your settings and your break history stay untouched on your Mac.
Your legal rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you also have the statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. Digital content delivered immediately is an exception to that right, and Polar asks you to agree to immediate delivery at checkout — which is precisely why this policy gives you the 14 days back voluntarily. Nothing here limits a mandatory right you have where you live.
A note on chargebacks
Please write before opening a dispute with your bank. A refund by email takes a day; a chargeback takes weeks, costs both sides, and gets you to the same place. Licences involved in a chargeback are deactivated.
